Delhi BJP to lodge complaint with EC against AAP

Meanwhile, ACB chief Mukesh Kumar Meena said Mishra did not give any complaint regarding Kejriwal accepting money from Jain.

Mishra also visited the office of the Central Bureau of Investigation at 11.30 am, purportedly to "reveal everything" against Kejriwal, Jain, Ashish Khaitan, Sanjay Singh and Durgesh Pathak. "The BJP is hatching a conspiracy against the AAP through Mishra", Singh told newspersons here.

Responding to Mishra's allegation through a tweet, Kejriwal promised to expose something big in the assembly.

The agency had received three complaints from Mishra, former Water and Tourism minister, in which he levelled charges of bribery and other irregularities against functionaries of Delhi Government, CBI Spokesperson R K Gaur said.

Resonating similar views, BJP leader Shazia Ilmi said that following Kapil Mishra's revelation it has been proved that those supporting Kejriwal in his corruption will be applauded, but those who will raise their voice against him will be shown the exit door. "If Kejriwal is found guilty then I will personally sit on an agitation at Jantar Mantar and demand his resignation", Hazare said at his residence in Ralegan Siddhi village of Maharashtra's Ahmednagar district.

The Delhi unit of Congress has sought the sanction of Lt Governor Anil Baijal for initiating prosecution against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for "gross abuse of power" by the AAP government, as pointed out by the Shunglu Committee.

Mishra's letter comes a day after he was suspended from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) following his allegation that Jain had also settled a Rs 50 crore land deal in favour of Kejriwal's brother-in-law. It alleged that he witnessed Mr. Jain handing over ₹2 crore to Mr. Kejriwal.

The state BJP said it will tell the people of Delhi how they had erred in backing Arvind Kejriwal in the last assembly elections.

According to sources, removing Mishra will have political implications as it will make him an independent candidate. "There islimit to foolishness", the health minister said.

Mishra, submitted documents to theAnti-Corruption Branch (ACB) against Kejriwal in connection with the alleged water tanker scam, said he has sought an appointment with the CBI to register a complaint.

"I am the only minister with no corruption charges".
