Injured fan visited by Ariana Grande enjoys One Love Manchester

Grande also joined Miley Cyrus for an acoustic take on 1986 Crowded House hit, "Don't Dream It's Over".

"Today's One Love Manchester benefit concert will not only continue, but will do so with greater goal", Braun said in a statement.

Grande canceled upcoming shows in London and Switzerland to prepare for Sunday's "One Love Manchester" concert.

Although Jaden was still too ill to attend the concert Evie held a poster for her friend who was still in hospital.

One of the most powerful moments of the concert was when the Parrs Wood High School Choir sang Grande's "My Everything" with the singer.

Grande thanked those in attendance.

She even collaborated with others onstage: She sang Fergie's verse on the Black Eyed Peas hit, "Where Is the Love?" along with the group; she performed a duet with Cyrus; and she sang her debut song, "The Way", with rapper Mac Miller.

"I think the kind of love you're displaying is the kind of medicine the world really needs right now".

"As soon as I met her I started crying and I gave her a big hug and she said I should stop crying because Olivia would have wanted me to stop crying", she said as she fought back tears.

Evie's mum Karen said: 'She came in and she was just lovely, adorable and humble - and all over the girls.

"(God) loves you and he's here for you. "You joining us here today with so many watching around the world sends that message spoken by Olivia Campbell-Hardy's mother, Charlotte that her daughter and all of the others lost will never be victims".

Coldplay provided one of the stand-out moments of the One Love Manchester benefit concert on Sunday (3 June) night, with their rendition of "Don't Look Back In Anger". He thanked everyone for attending despite a terror attack in London the day before.

"Manchester, your bravery is our hope", Braun said.

He added: "As unfortunately we saw yesterday, this will test us, and will show its face again".

Marcus Mumford of British-American band Mumford and Sons started the show with a minute silence, before performing the group's lovely song Timshel, setting the bar for what is sure to be a musical message of unity and love.

Greater Manchester Police Chief Superintendent Stuart Ellison said there would be a "significant number of officers" at the venue and encouraged people to leave bags at home.

"I'm bowing because despite all the things that have been going on in this place, I don't feel, or smell or see any fear in this building". "All we feel here tonight is love, resilience, positivity".

The leader of rock band Mumford & Sons sang "Timshel" while strumming his guitar at the "One Love Manchester" concert, held at the city's Old Trafford cricket ground. Justin Bieber and Coldplay are also scheduled to perform.

Grande, 23, tweeted that she was "broken" in the immediate aftermath of the May 22 bombing that claimed the lives of 22 and wounded more than 100 at her Manchester, England, show.

Take That, who are from Manchester, followed with fun energy that the crowd danced to. Twenty-two people were killed and dozens more were injured.
