Bruised and battered after their shocking ouster from the title race, an inconsistent India would look for solace when they take on arch-rivals Pakistan in a 5th-8th classification match of the Hockey World League Semi-Final on Saturday. "I just want to play well, because I missed six-seven tournaments a year ago, I just want to play as many games as possible". The World number three, stomped her Chinese opponent in straight sets of 21-13, 21-18 to seal her quarter final berth. The Indian erased the deficit to held the match point at 20-19 but the Chinese Taipei shuttler sealed it with two good points.

Shi did keep up with the Indian's quickness and attack and showed good defensive shots but Srikanth took a comfortable 11-8 lead at halfway break.
