On Thursday morning, President Donald Trump attacked Mika Brzezinski of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Twitter, saying that she was "low I.Q." and "crazy".

Trump first started by calling them "Crazy Mika" and "Psycho Joe". "I said no! Bad show", Trump tweeted.

President Donald Trump defended his aggressive use of Twitter on Saturday just hours after firing off his latest volley in his escalating feud with United States media.

Scarborough then accused Trump of lying. Scarborough replied that he had texts from top aides and phone records to corroborate his version. I'm just telling you, Melania's got the worst job in the country and I don't think she wants do it a lot longer.

The Washington Post reported on Friday that some unnamed White House advisers are frustrated with Trump's focus on NBC News as opposed to CNN, and believe his feud with the latter network has "clearer villains and heroes". He would always say, 'Have you seen the Ben Carson story? Even Sarah Huckabee Sanders was recently called out by a White House reporter for a divisive statement she made about the press.

There was no immediate comment from the National Enquirer, a tabloid that specialises in scandalous stories about celebrities and has been supportive of Mr Trump.

Yes, Trump has had far more invective hurled at him than the average president in his short time in office, much of it bitter, rooted in his unexpected win, and most of it unfair.

In addition to insulting Scarborough and Brzezinski Saturday, Trump said veteran TV news anchor Greta Van Susteren was pushed out at MSNBC "because she refused to go along w/ 'Trump hate!'"

According to three sources familiar with the private conversations, what happened was this: After the inauguration, Morning Joe's coverage of Trump turned sharply negative.

Is President Trump aware of his own obsession with women and blood?

Brzezinski and Scarborough, who, source told Radar, got engaged to cover up their affair, have been fighting back ever since and now the fight involves FLOTUS.

The controversy comes the same week as a New Yorker profile by Jeffrey Toobin, which explores the close relationship between AMI chairman and chief executive officer David Pecker and the president.

NBC declined comment on all the tweets Saturday from the president.
