Janet Jackson Opens Show With Video Denouncing White Supremacy And Domestic Terrorism

After a few teasers on social media, Janet Jackson made a dynamic return to the public eye by way of her "State of the World" tour. Moments before the pop legend took the stage, a video condemning white supremacy, domestic terrorism, and fascism was screened. But the R&B singer says that she's going to perform her show as scheduled.

Janet Jackson is back like she never left as she made her return to the stage since giving birth to son, Eissa, in January - but it's her wonderful post-baby body that got people talking.

Now 51, the younger sister of the late Michael Jackson wore incredible fitting bodysuit which hugged all her curves in the right places added with thigh-high boots that'll leave you wishing that you were her.

I think this is what FOMO feels like? She gave birth to son Eissa in May, and relocated back to the states from London following her split from billionaire husband, Wisaam Al Mana.

Jackson laid out her plans in a video she posted online to address talk that she was going to skip the Houston gig. "Thank you for coming out here to show your support of all us here, Houstonians, who are struggling from this Harvey disaster".

Jackson postponed her tour previous year, after announcing that she was pregnant with her first child.

There had been speculation that Janet would cancel her September 9 Houston show because of the widespread devastation in the state following Hurricane Harvey.

'I thought it was important that you be the first to know. We also want to do something special for the victims. "So, we'll see you Friday!"
