Is Samsung going to launch the bendable Galaxy X phone soon?

Rumours indicate the Samsung X foldable smartphone may arrive some time in 2018.

If the device in question is indeed the foldable Galaxy X, it's likely it will be launched initially in Samsung's home country, before making its way to other territories.

This certification mentions the familiar model number – SM-G888N0 – but doesnt betray much more than that.

Samsung usually unveils three flagship handsets in a year: the Galaxy S- series smartphones and the Galaxy Note handsets. That model number was found not to correspond to any of Samsung's lineup, so purveyors believed it belonged to the rumored Galaxy X.

Sale season is going on, After the big sale from both Amazon and Flipkart, Samsung has announced it's own sale via it's online store. The device had made an appearance for Bluetooth certification. This type of device could also pave the way for a whole host of innovations on which Samsung is already working, such as flexible tablets with entirely transparent screens.

So if you are a user of any above-listed devices then this is good news for you and let me remind you again this is not an Android version update, this update is firmware/security focused.

A year ago Sammobile reported that Project Valley would not be available globally at launch, but that the United Kingdom and Ireland, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Nordic countries, France and Poland were on the list. It'd be surprising to see Samsung unveil the phone in the coming months because we haven't seen any leaks. Meanwhile, the NRRA report does not reveal a lot of things regarding the upcoming Galaxy X. But, Koh Dong-jin, the company's mobile chief, had recently said that the next Samsung Galaxy Note will come in 2018, and with a bendable display. However, he has also warned that there are some technical challenges with the bendable display screen, and if they aren't resolved on time, the launch may be postponed. Given the fact that this could become the iPhone X's most serious opponent in the market, Samsung probably won't hold out too long before launching it. The phone was earlier codenamed as Project Valley but was changed to Galaxy X in May 2016.
